Victorian Tiled Combination Fireplace
An outstanding, well-designed Victorian tiled fireplace made by ‘Biclam’. The central frieze is decorated with bracken, foxgloves, ivy leaves and blackberries. The legs have sea shells suspended down either leg. The detail on this fireplace is incredible. In excellent condition, complete with new back and grate (small repair to shelf). Circa 1892.
Combination shown with Original Victorian Majolica fireplace tiles; delicate yellow flowers set off a warm brown background. In good/excellent condition (bottom right tile has been repaired.) From a house in Shrewsbury V092 @ £500 with this fireplace.
