Georgian / early-Victorian cast iron register grate, highly decorative with a Baroque influence. The overall effect is stunning. In excellent condition, fitted with a new grate. It has a good-sized fire opening. The fire can be closed down using the sliding plate shown in the pictures. From a house in Preston. Circa 1837.
