Original Victorian Cast Iron Surround. A magnificent Victorian cast iron surround 'The Arts'. The detail on the legs represents the different arts including poetry, painting, music, to name but a few. The central frieze has a spectacular eagle nestled amongst oak leaves and acorns. All the workmanship is outstanding. In excellent condition. From a house in London. Circa 1885. Tiled insert is sold separately on page F248TI.
